History:1848 First enrolled Buffalo, NY.

1849 June Grounded on shoal near Niagara River, Lake Erie; got off.

1851 May 1 Lost foremast on Lake Michigan; towed into Milwaukee, WI for repairs.

1852 November 12 Aground with cargo iron, Straits of Mackinac; got off.

1853 Jul 27 Buffalo to Detroit, sprung leak as entered Lake Huron. Returned to St. Clair River, towed to Ives' Dry Dock for repairs. Carrying 500 tons iron and a locomotive.

1854 Enrolled Chicago.

1854 September 1 Capsized off Sheboygan, WI, Lake Michigan.
